Hello everyone! Today we are exploring Key Concepts in I B Psychology. We will cover six fundamental concepts: Bias, Causality, Perspective, Measurement, Change, and Responsibility, which are all essential for the critical analysis of psychological theories.

First, let's look at Bias. It is a systematic deviation from the truth that threatens the credibility of research, interpretation, and behavior. As you can see by this tilting scale, bias shifts our results away from an objective reality.

Next is Causality. This represents a cause and effect relationship where one variable, labeled A, acts as the cause and directly influences or triggers a change in another variable, labeled B, which is the effect.

Other key concepts include Perspective, which uses different theoretical lenses; Measurement, the quantification of variables; Change, the evolution of behavior over time; and Responsibility, regarding ethical and social obligations. All are crucial for critical evaluation.
